What is Photography?

1) What question does Erik pose to the audience?
Is it photography?
2) What was Erik’s first real passion?
Drawing
3) What conception of photography did Erik previously hold?
When you take a photograph with a camera, the process ends when you press the trigger.
4) How did this inspire him?
He wanted to create something different.
5) What “common goal” do Erik’s photos have?
Maintaining photo-realism.
6) Define realism as used in this context.
It looks as if it was captured in one click.
7) What principles does he adhere to when creating an image?
Should have the same perspective and lighting.
8) Why is it easier to create a place rather than to find a place?
It limits the imagination.
9) How does he plan the photos?
He starts with a sketch.
10) What is his conclusion?
The tools are out there, and the only thing that limits us is our imagination.

Back to School

Trapped with freedom in sight. Banging to get out, but nobody listens. All you can do is wait and hope someone hears your cries for help.
